Send to Kindle from Telegram
You find things worth reading in Telegram all the time — links in group chats, forwarded articles, PDFs from colleagues, long text messages you'll never get to on your phone. The DropKind Telegram bot lets you send any of it to your Kindle. Forward a message, paste a link, or share a file. It arrives on your Kindle in under a minute, formatted for comfortable reading.
Sign up for DropKind
Create a free account at dropkind.app. You'll need it to connect the bot to your Kindle.
Connect Telegram
Open Settings → General → Telegram in the DropKind app or web dashboard. Tap "Connect Telegram" to get a code, then send it to @dropkind_bot.
Forward or send content
Forward any message with a link to @dropkind_bot. Or send a link, text, photo, or file (PDF, EPUB, DOC) directly. The bot confirms it's on the way.
Read on your Kindle
The content appears in your Kindle library in under a minute. Articles are cleaned up — just the writing, no ads. Files are converted for e-ink.
What you can send
Almost anything. Forward a message containing a link and the bot extracts the full article. Paste a URL directly and it does the same. Send a PDF, EPUB, DOCX, image, or plain text — the bot handles all of them. PDFs and Word documents are converted so they reflow on your Kindle with adjustable font size.
Forwarding from group chats and channels
This is the most common use. Someone shares a long article in a group chat. You don't have time now, but you want to read it later — properly, not on your phone. Long-press the message, tap Forward, pick @dropkind_bot. The article is extracted, cleaned up, and sent to your Kindle. You get back to the conversation.
Saving your own reading list
Some people use the bot as a personal reading queue. Whenever they come across something worth reading — in a chat, a channel, a browser — they forward or paste it to @dropkind_bot. Everything arrives on their Kindle, ready for the next time they sit down to read.
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of messages can I send to the bot?
Links (pasted or inside forwarded messages), plain text, PDFs, EPUB files, Word documents (DOC/DOCX), RTF, HTML files, and photos. If you forward a message that contains a link, the bot extracts the article from that link.
Does it work with links behind paywalls?
No — the bot fetches the page from the URL, so it can't access content behind a login. For paywall content, use the Chrome extension or iOS app, which capture the page from your browser.
Can I send content from Telegram channels?
Yes. Forward any message from a channel to @dropkind_bot. If the message contains a link, the bot extracts the article. If it's a file or photo, it sends that directly to your Kindle.
How do I disconnect the bot?
Send /unlink to @dropkind_bot, or go to Settings → General → Telegram in the DropKind app and tap "Disconnect".
Is it free?
Yes. DropKind has a free tier that lets you send content to your Kindle — no credit card required. The Telegram bot is included.
