The service

DropKind sends content and documents that you provide to your Kindle. Some PDFs may be converted into EPUB, optimized, or delivered in parts when that is necessary for Kindle delivery.

Delivery depends on Amazon's Send-to-Kindle service and other providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a particular delivery time, or that every document can be converted.

Your content and acceptable use

You keep your rights in your content. You give us permission to process and transmit it only to provide the service.

You must have the right to upload and send the content. Do not use DropKind for unlawful, harmful, infringing, spam, or abusive activity.

PDF credits and purchases

One PDF credit covers up to 10 PDF pages. Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and credits do not expire. Monthly subscription credits are separate and are described in the Subscriptions section.

Credits are charged only when we create and deliver an EPUB. An unchanged original PDF delivered because conversion would not help does not use credits.

Paddle is the Merchant of Record for Paddle purchases and handles payment, tax, and purchase receipts. Our Refund Policy applies to refund requests.

Apple handles payment, tax, receipts, and refund requests for purchases made in the iOS app. Credits bought through Apple or Paddle share the same DropKind balance when you use the same account.

Subscriptions

DropKind offers optional Plus and Pro monthly subscriptions. Apple bills subscriptions started in the iOS app; Paddle, as Merchant of Record, bills subscriptions started on the web.

Each plan includes a monthly delivery allowance and a monthly allotment of PDF conversion credits; Pro also includes API access. Current allowances and prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Free accounts also include a monthly delivery allowance, and we may adjust allowances with notice.

Subscriptions renew automatically every month until canceled. You can cancel at any time — in your device's subscription settings for Apple, or on your subscription page for web — and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.

Monthly credits are granted for each paid period and last as long as your subscription is active; they expire when it ends. Credit packs you purchase separately never expire.

Accounts and changes

You are responsible for your account and Kindle delivery address. We may suspend access for misuse or to protect the service.

We may update these terms. We will publish the updated version and, where required, provide notice of material changes.
